Somalia: Somali talks in Djibouti resumes

Djibouti(HR Media):-The Somali talks held in the neighboring country of Djibouti resumed on Thursday after short halt of the talks on Wednesday. The gathering was disturbed on Wednesday when the Ethiopian ambassador to Djibouti arrived at the venue of the conference.
The presence of the Ethiopian Ambassador caused the delegation from opposition group to quit the talks and leave the conference room. The Somali opposition group based in Eritrea archrival of Ethiopia have previously refused to sit down with the government delegations demanding first the Ethiopian troops supporting the TFG to leave Somali soil.
The gathering which is still on the beginning phase recommenced on Thursday after the organizers the UN called all representatives from neighboring countries not to come to the edgy talks.
The main obstacle to the reconciliation of the Somali government and its opposition is the issue of the Ethiopian troops in Somalia. The opposition is demanding those troops to be bulled out of the country. While the Somali government which is depending on the military support from Ethiopia, is calling for International troops to replace the Ethiopians forces before any withdrawal plan can be established.
