Ethiopia: Will Girma Biru be the next Prime Minister?

Awramba Times (Circ.21,000) - reported that leaked information indicates Girma Biru would be the next Prime Minister of Ethiopia. In a related development, the report says EPRDF started preparations for next national election.
Prime Minister Meles in an interview with TPLF newspaper last year announced his party plan to recruit thousands of members. According to the report, for this purpose the ruling party has conducted series of conferences for civil servants, farmers and students at which participants were told to fill EPRDF membership forms. The report says several civil servants joined the party in fear of their job security.

Mr. Birru is actually Oromo but he does not understand the wish of oromo people. his OPDO party has very small support. we remember another oromo (half-oromo) leader emperor haile selassie. but what benefit did oromo people have under haile selasie? nothing. another Oromo leader in ethiopia were Ras Gobena, Iyasu, Teferi Benti and Negasso Gidada. but all of these oromo leaders served their amhara/tigre masters
